Sam is a Senior Litigation Lawyer who has worked in international law firms in London and New Zealand before joining our Litigation Team in 2025.
Sam has broad experience helping clients deal with commercial disputes including over contractual terms, property, debt recovery, trusts and estates, and banking matters. He has appeared in the District Court and High Court of New Zealand and has advised clients during regulatory investigations and arbitral proceedings.
Sam grew up in Dunedin and studied at the University of Otago, graduating with an LLB and BA. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in 2012.
Outside of work you will likely find Sam chasing after his two young boys or arguing about sport.
